Our little family celebrated Valentine’s all weekend. Friday night, mommy and daddy got to go out for a nice dinner while the girlies went to spend the night at Mimi’s house with Sara and Katie. Leia and Ivy had a great time at their girls\u00a0night. Each munchkin picked what they wanted for dinner before having play time and a movie night. Ivy, Leia and Katie took over Mimi’s bed while Sara and Mimi slept in the guest room. (We did not get many pictures from Friday since everyone was too busy having fun.)<\/p>\n

Saturday, morning mommy and daddy were about to sleep in, enjoy leisure morning, then grab a late breakfast before heading to Mimi’s. The girls were up early, excited to be waking up on\u00a0Valentines Day. They were equally excited to get a surprise from Mimi. Sweet Leia jumped right up to get Mimi’s card out\u00a0of\u00a0their bags to give her a valentine. (Pretty sure, Grandpa and Deedee’s arrived a day late since we forgot to put the flag up on the mailbox; the mailman didn’t get it when the flag was not up so it was sent\u00a0a\u00a0day later than we meant for it to be). Mimi’s grand-girls\u00a0enjoyed a ‘buffet’ for breakfast; everyone got exactly what they wanted to eat. Unfortunately, Mimi got a unwanted valentine and her hot water heater went out but was happy to have a new one before we sat down for lupper. Aunt Stacy, uncle Mark, and Nana joined us at Mimi’s for lupper and a little Valentine fun. We enjoyed most the day outside in the warm 60 degree weather enjoying time with family, watching the girls ride bikes, chasing them, and playing on the monkey bars; Leia started riding one without training wheels too. That evening on the way home we were so thankful we decided to go out the night before Valentine as we saw the traffic and crowds trying to get to their dinner locations. Mommy and daddy\u00a0had decorated our house for the girls to open their Valentine’s from us\u00a0that evening. After we were home a little it we decided for Lisa and the girls headed back to Mimi’s for the evening since Chris was heading out of town earl, early on Sunday and needed to go to the store for hunting stuff. Mimi and Lisa got to enjoy a valentine Hallmart movie :).<\/p>\n

Sunday, we had a leisure morning at Mimi’s before meeting the Rhoads’ for lunch. The girls then all headed to get pampered with pedicures that afternoon before coming home to prepare for the school\/work week ahead. Thank you Mimi for spoiling us all with your Valentine. Enjoyed getting to spend and talk to some of those we love this weekend as we celebrated the day of love, Valentine.<\/p>\n
