2011 is on its way out.  The most common (in my opinion) New Year’s Resolution is to get in better shape.

I have definitely have had this as a goal of mine many New Years; always failed miserably a month or two in (sometimes just a week or two).

For 2012 I am confident that it will be different.  Welcoming our second daughter, Ivy, into this world this past September (9/9/2011) and our two year old being harder and harder to keep up with are my major motivators for to begin and maintain this resolution.

To help me achieve my goals I am going to be posting here at least once a week to discuss how I have done, write personal inspirations, issues, and tidbits of information.

In addition I am going to take this high tech.  I will be charting, measuring, and writing a food diary that will be available via a link from this blog (which I will be updating on a daily basis).

As visitors find this site I hope that they will see progress both in weight loss and blood glucose levels.
